Get Involved - Chapters

Room to Read depends on our Chapter Leaders and Chapter Members to help us achieve our annual fundraising goal and to represent Room to Read. Our Chapters are comprised of groups of individuals who have made a long-term volunteer commitment to promoting Room to Read within their networks and communities. The Chapters organize annual fundraising events, introduce us to potential corporate, foundation and individual supporters and act as representatives for Room to Read within their area.

If there is a Chapter in your area, please complete our Volunteer Application (Microsoft Word, 37kB) and email it to volunteer@roomtoread.org. Chapter leaders will be in touch via email for any potential volunteering opportunities.

If there is no Chapter in your area and you are interested in starting one, please complete our Volunteer Application (Microsoft Word, 37kB) and email it to volunteer@roomtoread.org. Our volunteer coordinator will be in touch about your interest in starting a Chapter. Before we launch a Chapter, we ask the individuals involved to demonstrate a commitment towards volunteering for Room to Read by organizing a few fundraising events and promoting Room to Read within their network to help build the base in their area.
