Get Involved - Overview

"Alone we can do little, together we can do so much."

- Helen Keller

Room to Read's goal is to provide 10 million children with the lifelong gift of education. To succeed, we need your support! Your involvement will make a world of difference in the lives of children in the developing world.

Here's how you can get involved:

Donate

Help us establish educational resources in the developing world by donating via credit card, check, stock donation, or some other method. Every donation helps! You can select a country and/or program of your choice, or leave it up to us to use your donation as strategically as possible. You can also make a bulk donation of new children's books.

Adopt a Project

Sponsor a library, fund a long-term girls' scholarship, adopt a school construction project, endow a computer lab, or sponsor a new children's book title.

Students Helping Students

We created Students Helping Students (SHS) because we appreciate the creativity and diligence that students bring to our efforts. Through SHS, students have a very real, measurable impact on education in the developing world.
